We host many High-Performance Driving Schools annually, including events at Watkins Glen NY, Lime Rock Park CT, Palmer MA, and Club Motorsports NH.
You will be sent a certificate with a personal discount code in the value purchased that the recipient can use to redeem their gift certificate amount.
How Much Should I Give?

$50 gives an Instructor Ride-Along VIP pass (Very Important Passenger)
$299 covers the Taste of the Track for First-Timers
$325 gets a Winter Car Control Clinic
$400-$450 for a 1 track day High Performance Driver Education school
$700-$800 for a 2-day HPDE event
All fees include entry into school, in-car instruction and classroom sessions.

What is a High Performance Driving School?
Our HPDE events are designed to improve your skills for both street and performance driving. Under the close supervision of trained instructors you will learn how to handle and control your vehicle at speeds not normally attained on public roads. It helps prepare you better for emergencies in normal driving and explore your capabilities in a controlled environment on track. At no time will you be pushed or encouraged to go any faster than is comfortable. All participants will be organized into run groups based on experience, skill, and type of vehicle.
Beginners are taught a smooth and consistent driving style and how to read the track. More experienced participants develop new skills such as trail braking and threshold braking. For the most developed drivers, the chief instructor might “sign off” for you to drive solo if you have demonstrated the essentials of high-performance driving. This includes consistently driving the correct line and using proper techniques and etiquette on track.
Though you are on a racetrack, it is not a race. You should not be screaming through corners with the tires squealing. Safety is of the utmost importance. Driver conduct will be diligently monitored throughout the day by the staff, instructors, and corner workers.
Track Time
You will typically have at least four on-track sessions each day that are 25-30 minutes each. At the end of the 2-day event you will have had almost 4 hours on-track over the two days.
Classroom
Your day is divided between driving on the track, classroom sessions, and free time to meet other like-minded enthusiasts. All participants are required to attend classroom sessions throughout the day to learn about track conditions, vehicle dynamics and driving techniques. You learn a lot of high speed driving theory like the difference between an early and late apex, weight transfer and the cause and effect of under verses oversteer. Each classroom will also include an opportunity for Q&A.
Do I need to own an Audi?
We welcome all makes of cars -- you don't have to drive an Audi to enjoy our events. This school is an excellent way for you to improve your driving skills and have fun too!
First Time Students
We’ve all been there and know what it’s like to drive on a race-track for the first time. There are a good number of first-timers at each event – you will not be alone.
The novice classroom teacher and your personal in-car instructor are there to make you comfortable. They provide the tools and instill confidence for you to enjoy driving on the race-track. It is all about having an enjoyable experience with a controlled and safety conscious structure.
Requirements
There are some restrictions and requirements outlined in detail on the “Toolbox” section of the NEQ website. Most importantly are the notes regarding convertibles, bringing or renting a certified helmet, and ensuring your car ready for the track.
