That’s a wrap to our Summer 2026 season! What an amazing finale at the legendary Watkins Glen International on September 21st and 22nd! Two days of cool, dry weather and speeding through the classic Esses made this HPDE event one of the best!

We had about 150 attendees speeding through the Esses, including 22 first time NEQ participants. Welcome to the NEQ family! Our drivers got to expand their skills on this complex track, some building upon our previous event at the Glen in August! With help from almost 50 instructors on site, students got as much ride-along coaching as needed.

After an exhilarating first day at the track, we gathered at El Rancho for beverages, banter, and a Mexican buffet. Winding down with friends, sharing stories, and enjoying some good food is what helps make NEQ special!

During the festivities, Anthony Rivara officially graduated our latest IC’s to full instructor status! Please join us in congratulating:

Evan Ehalt
Michael Casserly
Jesse Pelican
Marc Galvin

Thank you for your time and commitment to the IC program!

We owe a huge thank you to our event masters Alex Sunseri and Monica Rigney. Volunteering in the pits were Dave Klock, Philip Pepper, and Stefano Bernardo. Helping at registration were Linda Tomasi and Kimberly O’Loughlin. And lets not forget our instructors and members who continue to participate in our events and support the club. We cannot wait to see everyone again next season!

Meanwhile, keep an eye on the NEQ website, Facebook page, and emails for announcements on more social events, winter driving school, and next season’s HPDE dates when they are available!
